Dearing Elementary School
Dearing Elementary is a community school serving grades Pre K through five. We are proud to be identified as one of Georgia's Distinguished Title I Schools for the seventh year in a row. The expectations here are high, as we encourage all our children to jump on board and "Sail the Seas of Success" with us. This couldn't be possible without the instruction, support, and guidance from 70 talented individuals dedicated to our "Bullpups."

R.L. Norris Elementary School
We are excited to begin a new year at Norris Elementary! This year our theme is "Destination ... Achievement." We have exciting plans for learning activities and programs built around our theme. Norris Elementary is located at 1861 Harrison Road and serves grades four and five. Our programs have been established to enrich and reward the academic and behavioral progress of our students. Since NES is a Renaissance School, achievement rallies will be held each nine weeks to celebrate our hard work. With "Destination Achievement" as our theme, we hope to enhance and foster the love of learning that already exists at Norris. We truly believe in celebrating all our students and their achievements. We will work closely together to serve our students the best that we can. If at any time, we can be of assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us.

McDuffie Achievement Center
The faculty, staff and I are proud to open the doors of the new McDuffie Achievement Center (MAC). We sincerely welcome you to this fabulous first year. The community as a whole has put forth a lot of effort to have this facility up and running so that you will have new opportunities to learn. Therefore, I challenge you to not view your stay here at MAC as a means to an end but as a chance at a new beginning. It is our goal to provide opportunities for you to become more successful and productive as you, your parents, the community and the faculty and staff at MAC, embark on the journey to aid you in acquiring a greater sense of accomplishment and a stronger desire to achieve! However, we will have school in an environment that is safe and orderly. Therefore, it is very important that you familiarize yourself with the rules including the dress code and the demerit system. We look forward to walking with you as we discover a "new road to success" at the McDuffie Achievement Center.
