| Thomson football team looks to improve on last year |
As the season opener draws near, the THS Bulldogs hope to go all the way this year and to improve last year's second-round playoff push. I managed to catch up with Coach Costello and ask him a series of questions.

| Coach had successful NFL career |
Eddie Lee Ivery, perhaps one of the most well known names in Thomson, graduated from THS in 1975. As a Beta Club member and MVP of both basketball and football, Coach Ivery realized that many colleges, including Florida State, University of South Carolina, University of South California, University of Alabama, University of Georgia, and Georgia Tech wanted him to play for them.
