Dearing Elementary students hold their hands up in an attempt to quiet others prior to the start of the parade to celebrate McDuffie County’s schools making Adequate Yearly Progress. Students, parents and staff marched across the football field prior to the start of Thomson’s game against Richmond Academy. There was also a fireworks show at halftime.
