One of the organizers of the 15th Annual Blind Willie McTell Blues Festival, which was held last Saturday near Thomson and drew an estimated 1,500 fans, says it was one of the best festivals ever.
A City of Thomson employee is being hailed as "a hero" after he witnessed a recent break-in at the city barn and provided police with information which led to the arrests of two of three suspects now in custody.
