WARRENTON, Ga. -- The Warren County Screaming Devils nearly pulled off the biggest win of the football season last Friday night when they entertained the Washington-Wilkes Tigers. The Tigers prevailed 21-18 thanks to a 1-yard touchdown run with 3:02 left in the game.

Sports has always played a big role in the life of Thomson's Gary Hinton. Because of his love, dedication and service to the United States Speciality Sports Association for the past two decades, Hinton recently was inducted into the Georgia USSSA Hall of Fame.
