THOMSON, Ga. - Ms. Diane Mattocks Jockell, 65, of Thomson, entered into rest December 27, 2006, in Augusta.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., December 29, 2006, at Westview Cemetery with Rev. Bill Seaman officiating. Mrs. Jockell was born in Montgomery, Ala., and was the daughter of the late Jack Mattocks and the late Melva Simpler Mattocks. She was a retired store manager and was the manager of Green Acres Mobile Home Park. Mrs. Jockell was also a member of the VFW and a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include: son: Curtis Jockell, Thomson; daughter and her husband: LeAnn and Bruce Banks, Sr., Grovetown; grandchildren; Steven Banks, Bruce Banks, Jr.; great-grandchild: Madisyn Banks; special friends include: Judy Collins, Jeanette Cullinan, Tony Toole, James Layfield, Robert Jones.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, December 29, 2006, at Westview Cemetery with Rev. Bill Seaman officiating.
Honorary Pallbearers were Tony Toole, Ike Galbreath, Josh Galbreath, James Layfield, Robert Jones, Wesley Gales and Matt Garvey.
Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
