Mrs. Jan C. McCarty, Homemaker WASHINGTON, Ga.- Mrs. Jan C. McCarty, 43, died Tuesday, December 28, 2004, at her residence. Graveside services were held Sunday, January 2, 2005, in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Rev. Mike Sutphin officiating. Mrs. McCarty was a native of McDuffie County, but had lived in Wilkes County for many years. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her daughter, Miss Jennifer McCarty, Washington; her father, Jack Cartledge, Washington and her brother, Jeffery L. Cartledge, Thomson.
