Jody Thomas, a registered nurse at McDuffie Regional Medical Center, was named the Golden Heart Award winner for November.
Her supervisors said Ms. Thomas is always pleasant to work with, and they hardly ever see her without a smile.
Ms. Thomas is always willing to go the extra mile, and is always willing to help her fellow coworkers, including other associates from different departments.
"Jody's heart continues to shine as a Team Leader and when giving patient care," said Peggy Barmore, CNE. "We all appreciate Jody; she is an asset to MRMC."
Most importantly, she always puts the patients first.
"She'd be my number one choice for the Golden Heart award," said Jennifer Weaver, Lab Technician. "She seems to have a 'Golden' Heart.'"
