HARLEM, Ga. - Mr. Charles Michael "Mike" Hayner, 43, of Harlem, entered into rest December 30, 2005, at University Hospital.
He was the beloved son of Martha Hayner and Clyde Hayner. Additional survivors include daughters, Carmen M. Hayner, Augusta, Cassie L. Hayner, Thomson; brothers, David Wayne Hayner (Frieda) Harlem, James B. Hayner, Augusta; nephew, Austin Hayner, Harlem; loving companion, Marilyn C. Randall, Thomson. He was preceded in death by a sister, Audra Cook.
Mr. Hayner was born in Charlotte, N.C., but lived most of his life in Harlem. He was a Combat Veteran with the 5th Special Forces, Army Ranger and served in 13 Special Operations and was retired from Brown-Mixon as a heavy equipment operator. Mr. Hayner was also a member of the Macon Lodge #151, a 32nd Degree Mason and a Baptist.
Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2006, at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Richard Rowles officiating.
Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
