Mr. Bobby Giles Keith Sr.
Retired Businessman
THOMSON, Ga.- Mr. Bobby Giles Keith Sr., 77, beloved husband of Mrs. Carol Keith, died Thursday, January 6, 2005, in University Hospital.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 8, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donald Widener officiating. Burial was in the Scruggs Cemetery, Norwood, Ga.
Mr. Keith was a native of Warren County, but had lived in Thomson for many years. He was the retired owner/operator of Keith Amusement Service after 56 years of service. He was a member of the Norwood United Methodist Church. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and was a member of the Ailee Shrine and the Franklin Masonic Lodge of Warrenton, serving both for 50 years. He was also a member of the Thomson Moose Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Keith, Thomson; two sons, Bob Keith, Jr. and Jon 'Buzz' Keith, both of Thomson; two daughters, Dottie Land Harper and Geneie Land Mitchum, both of Thomson; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Tony McMichael, Lee Montgomery, Mike Hobbs, Doug Lord, John Richards and Mark Adams.
Curtis Funeral Home, Thomson, was in charge of arrangements.
