WARRENTON, Ga. - Mrs. Pansy C. Pierce, 88, beloved wife of the late Harry L. Pierce, of Brown Circle, entered into rest Sunday, Jan. 4, 2004 at Austinwoods Health Care Center in Austin Town, Ohio.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, at Lowe Funeral Home, with Rev Mark Winstead officiating. Burial was in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens, Thomson.
Mrs. Pierce was a native of Warren, Ohio but was a resident of Warrenton, Ga. for 27 years. She graduated from Hiram College and attended Duke University and retired after 33 years of service as a schoolteacher in Leavittsburg, OH. She attended First Baptist Church, Warrenton where she was a member and taught the Laura Lee Adult Ladies Sunday School class.
Survivors include one son, Larry D. Pierce of Olathe, Kansas; two daughters Kerry Fox, Boneville. and April L. Riggs, Berlin Center, OH; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Pierce was preceded in death by one son, Gregory Lee Pierce.
