CORNELIA, Ga. - Mr. Aubrey Carroll Sorrow, 75, husband of the late Mrs. Ruby Reese Sorrow, died January 14, 2007 at the Habersham County Medical Center after a brief illness.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 17, 2007, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Warrenton, with Rev. Tony Royston officiating. Interment followed in Sallie Hill Cemetery in Warrenton.
Mr. Sorrow was the son of the late Jessie Norwood Sorrow and Annie Clyde Smith Sorrow of Union Point, Ga. He was employed many years at Jebco, Inc., in Warrenton as a press operator. He was retired from Anderson Carpet in Cornelia. Upon his retirement, he enjoyed doing volunteer work in the community. He will be missed dearly by his family, friends, and loved ones.
Survivors include four daughters: Peggy Sorrow Akers, Cornelia, Ga., Angie Todd (Joe) Stewart, Vidalia, Ga., Barbara Sorrow (Rick) Todd, Palatka, Fla., Judy Todd Taylor, Dearing; four sons: Barrett (Misty) Sorrow of Lyons, Ga., James Todd, Lyons, Ga., Keith Todd, Thomson, and Mike Todd, Thomson; 12 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Lester Hadden, Rick Todd, Michael Todd, Craig Kent, and Joshua Stewart.
