Mrs. Geneva Tanksley Nichols TALLAHASSEE, FL. - Mrs. Geneva Tanksley Nichols, 74, daughter of the late Willie and Sallie Eva Tanksley, died on Thursday, January 5, 2006 at Brynwood Nursing Facility in Monticello, Fla. Mrs. Nichols, a native of Campania, lived in Leominster, Mass. for many years before moving to Florida about five years ago. Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 11, 2006 at Branch Street Funeral Home, Monticello. Survivors are two daughters, Rochelle Hobbs, Dearing, Davena Bruce, Tallahassee; two sons, LeDanielle Hobbs, El Cajun, Calif, Derrick Nichols, East Orange, Mass; two sisters, Dorothy Ball, Frances Johnson, Chicago Heights, Ill.; one brother, James Tanksley, Chicago; great aunt, Laura Stanley, Augusta; 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
