Thanks for Angel Tree success Letter to the Editor Dear Editor, McDuffie County Partners for Success wishes to thank McDuffie County community and business members for their support of the Fourth Annual Holiday Angel Tree to benefit low income families. Fifteen families, including 20 children, received Christmas assistance this year. Families chosen to participate in the 2005 Angel Tree were teen mothers participating in our Teen Parent Support group at THS and low income families participating in our Safe and Stable families parent education program. On behalf of these families, Partners for Success wishes to express our gratitude to all of our community Angels who adopted these families and helped to make this Christmas a very special one; Jimmy and Dena's Paint and Body, MANNA, Thomson's Junior Women's Club, Marshall Baptist Church, Pine Grove Baptist Church, Emily Cranford, Lisa McCorkle, Jennifer Cook, and Brian Ash.
