Allen and Kitty Hawkins of Thomson would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Cheryl Kittrell Hawkins of Thomson, to Donald Lee (Trapper) Reese, Jr., son of Don and Anita Reese of Thomson.
Miss Hawkins is the granddaughter of Mrs. Louise "Libby" Adkins of Evans and the late John F. Adkins and Mrs. Audrey Hawkins of Thomson and the late Hubert A. Hawkins.
She is a graduate of Thomson High School and Augusta Technical College with an associate degree in accounting. She is presently employed by Hawkins Logging and Timber Co. in Warrenton.
Mr. Reese is the grandson of Mrs. Marcie N. Pilgrim of Thomson and the late Clarence W. Pilgrim and Mrs. Mary M. Reese of Thomson and the late Dewey V. Reese.
He is a graduate of Thomson High School and Georgia Southern University with a bachelor's degree in business management. He is presently employed by Reese Home Builders in Thomson.
The wedding is slated for 7 p.m. at Come Away Plantation, Norwood, on June 4, 2005. After the ceremony, a reception will be held at the same location.
