Cruising the canal
On a Friday full of liquid sunshine, students and teachers from Thomson Middle School Team 8-4 journeyed to the Augusta Canal and Museum. Led by informative tour guides on the replica of the Petersburg boat, students and teachers were navigated through historic places and events in Augusta's history. Once the boat trip was over, students visited the museum for a scavenger hunt to learn more about the history of the canal and its importance to Augusta.
