Contending at the Oconee County Middle School Cheer-Off in Watkinsville, the team earned an "Excellence in Performance" trophy in the team competition while demonstrating their skills against nine other teams. In individual contests, Destiny Van, Alakia Williams, Haley Barker, and Brittney Brinkley represented TMS well in the jump-off. In the tumble-off contest, Mary Catherine Finnerty and Casey Brooks were the entrants.
The girls' performance was viewed by a host of parents and supporters. In addition to preparing for competition, the squad has been actively supporting the TMS basketball teams, which conclude season play in late January.
