THOMSON, Ga. - Funeral service for Mr. Eugene "JB" Calhoun, 60, Thomson, was held Saturday, January 19, 2008, at 2 p.m. at the Piney Grove Baptist Church, Dearing, with the Rev. Sylvester Nabritt, Eulogist. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Survivors are wife, Mary L. Calhoun, Thomson; two sons, Terry (Evette) Leverett, Wrens, Willie Leverett, Thomson; daughter, Gloria (Melvin) Wilson, Wrens; two sisters, Mary (Tracy) Ivery and Grace Calhoun, Thomson; five brothers, Jefferson (Mary) Calhoun, Seymour Calhoun, Cato Calhoun, Vennie (Jackie) Calhoun, all of Thomson, and David (Brenda) Calhoun of Greenwood, S.C.; mother-in-law, Juanita F. Leverette, Thomson; father-in-law, Joseph Leverette, Dearing; brothers-in-law, Tommy (Cheryl) Leverett, Terry L. Leverett, James Leverett, all of Thomson, Lindsey Leverett, Wrens, Moses (Carlotta) Leverett, Grovetown; sisters-in-law, Willie Mae Leverett, Thomson; two granddaughters, one great-granddaughter; devoted pet companion and best friend Mikey; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
