Briarwood academy is still searching for a new football coach. School officials conducted an interview on Monday and will interview six other candidates leading up to the first week of February, according to Clayton Parrish, the school's athletic director.
"We should know something a little bit more definite after the first week of February," he said.
The Briarwood Board of Trustees made the decision to relieve Jimmy Barnett of his coaching duties on Nov. 13. The Bucs posted a 27-18-1 record during his four-year tenure as head coach.
