HARLEM, Ga. - Mrs. Venera Thigpen Guillebeau, 64, wife of Mr. John Edward Guillebeau, entered into rest Sunday, January 21, 2007.
A Homecoming Celebration was held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 2007, at Harlem Baptist Church, with the Dr. Don Crosswhite and Pastor Donnie Crosswhite officiating. Interment was in the Harlem Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Guillebeau, a native of Glascock County, had retired from the Medical College of Georgia as a nursing assistant. She was a member of Jones Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, John Edward Guillebeau; one son Anthony E. Guillebeau and wife Candy Guillebeau; two grandsons, Joshua Guillebeau and Caleb Guillebeau, all of Harlem; one brother William Thigpen, Dearing; and one sister Yvonne Cox, Thomson.
