APPLING, Ga. - Mr. Thomas K. Tankersley, 45, Appling, died January 12, 2007 at his residence by the hands of another. Mr. Tankersley was a life long resident of Columbia County.
Survived by a loving wife and soul mate, Stephanie Tankersley; four children Thomas, K. Tankersley Jr., (TJ) 9, Nathan J. Tankersley, 5, Kyra E. A. Tankersley, 18 months, and Lacie D. Meadows-Ivey, 15, all of Dearing; one brother, Robert Willie Pullins of Augusta; one aunt, Irene Freeman of Appling; two aunts, Susie Hankerson and Rita Pullins and one uncle, Kemp Pullins all of Philadelphia.
Mr. Tankersley was a loving husband, father and friend.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to Thomson Funeral Systems, P.O. 1354 Thomson, GA 30824 to help cover the cost of the arrangements.
