The Warren County varsity boy's basketball team lost two this past week. On Jan. 16, they fell to Aquinas, 65-79. Then on Jan. 20, the Screaming Devils lost a home game to Thomson, 69-72.
C.J. Williams led the Devils in the big statistical categories with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Tommy Seals followed closely with 17 points of his own, 12 of which came from beyond the three point line, according to screamingdevils.blogspot.com.
The Warren County Lady Devils dropped three games this past week to put their season record at 3-11. They lost 41-49 on the road to Aquinas on Jan. 16. They fell to Lincoln County 51-68 on Jan. 19, and then lost to neighboring Thomson 50-65 on Jan. 20.
Freshman Candice Warthen led the scoring for the Lady Devils against Thomson with 35 points. Kenyetta Reese added 10 points on the night.
