WARRENTON, S.C.- Mr. George Wiley, beloved husband of Bunny Wiley, died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2004, at Doctors Hospital.
Funeral services were held 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, in Warrenton First Baptist Church, with Rev. Rob Bray officiating. Burial was at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Wiley was a retired car dealership owner and a WW II veteran of the Army Air Corps. He was a member of Warrenton First Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Bunny Wiley; two daughters, Mary Ann Wiley Askew, Rome and Gail Wiley Jones, Augusta; a stepdaughter, Tracy Bankston; five grandchildren, Edgely Askew, Rome, Wiley Jones, J.P. Jones, Abby Jones, all of Augusta and Brooke Tata, Eatonton; one brother, J.T. Wiley, Thomson; sister, Elizabeth Wiley Johnson, Thomson; and numerous nieces and nephews and a world of friends.
In lieu of flowers send memorials to Warrenton First Baptist Church.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
