THOMSON, Ga. - The funeral service for Mrs. Charlotte O'Neal Cowins, 90, Thomson, was held on Saturday, January 26, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the Springfield Baptist Church, Thomson, with the Rev. F. D. Favors officiating. Interment was in Sandy Grove A.M.E. Churchyard Cemetery in Warrenton.
Survivors include: two daughters, Thelma (Leroy) Roberts and Barbara Hixson, all of Thomson, GA; three sons, Herman (Joyce) Cowins, Jr., Roy Melvin (Catherine) Cowins, all of Thomson and Rev. Roy Wilton (Betty) Cowins, Tulsa, OK; one sister, Daisy (Wade) Howard, Decatur; one brother, James (Jessie) Rogers, Atlanta; 19 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and friends.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
