The Camellia City Lions are sponsoring a Baby Derby fundraiser from Feb. 16 until April 4. All proceeds from this Baby Derby will go to sight conservation programs to help the blind.
The Baby Derby is a photo contest for children birth through 4 years old. The entry fee is $5 and the contestant collecting the most votes at 25 cents a vote will be the winner. At the time of registration, the child will receive a container for collecting votes. First prize will be a trophy and $100 bond, second prize a trophy and $50 bond, and third prize will be a trophy and $50 bond.
On Feb. 16 between 2-6 p.m., the Camellia City Lions will be at Wal-Mart with the entry forms. Also, forms will be at childcare centers and in several businesses in Thomson.
