THOMSON, Ga.- Mrs. Florence R. Hokrein of Thomson, entered into rest January 24, 2005 at her residence . She was the beloved wife of Howard J. Hokrein.
Survivors include her husband, Howard J. Hokrein, Thomson; sons, Dale Hokrein (Nancy),Tampa, Fla. and Glen Hokrein (Karen), Thomson; daughters, Donna Bates (John), Chatsworth, Ga.; brothers, Hank Gorski (Mary), Mannville, N. J. and Peter Gorski (Barbara), Cocoa Beach, Fla.; sisters, Loraine Sian (Louis), Finderne, N. J. and seven grandchildren, Olivia Hokrein, Emily Hokrein, Anna Hokrein, Logan Bates, Evan Hokrein, Jessica Hokrein and Sarah Beth Bates
Mrs. Hokrein was born in Findern, N. J. lived in Dover, N. J. and lived in Thomson for the past 29 years. She was retired as a teacher from Norris Elementary School in Thomson and Briarwood Academy. Mrs. Hokrein was a member Thomson Presbyterian Church.
Funeral services were held at 11 AM Friday, Januray 28, 2005 at Thomson Presbyterian Church with Rev. John Cook officiating. Interment followed in Westview Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ken Usry, Tommy Samuels, Bob Eick, Ed Henderson, Bob Gibson, John Colberg and Larry Montgomery.
