THOMSON, Ga.- Mrs. Mamie G. Lamkin entered into eternal rest at the McDuffie Regional Medical Center, Thomson, on January 24, 2005.
She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Appling, where Rev. Dr. Phillip Dunstan is the pastor.
She is survived by four sons, Francis, Samuel, Hogan and Robert Lamkin of Harlem, four daughters, Alisha L. Jones, Carrie Lamkin, Mamie L. Johnson and Linda L. Harvey of Augusta, and a host of grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, January 29, 2005 at 1 p.m. from Friendship Baptist Church, Appling with Rev. Dr. Dunstan officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Peoples Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
