Creating a new Habitat
From Staff
|
Habitat Board Member Mason Davis speaks at the groundbreaking of the new Habitat for Humanity home in January with future homeowner Robin Taylor at his side. The 1,200 square-foot residence is being built on the corner of Westwood and Seymour Drives in Thomson. This marks the fourth Habitat house in McDuffie County.

Ms. Taylor and Habitat Board Member Bill Shurling break ground on the home. Mr. Shurling said that volunteers are still needed to help complete the house, which should be done later this year. Those interested in volunteering should contact Mr. Shurling at 595-3974.
