THOMSON, Ga.- Mrs. Beulah Montgomery Richards, 94, widow of Mr. Waverly "Lefty" Richards, of Central Road, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004, at University Hospital.
Funeral services were Saturday, Jan. 31, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leo Carpenter and Dr. Randy Dunaway Officiating. Burial was in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Richards was a native of McDuffie County. She was retired from the Thomson Company. She was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church, where she was the oldest member.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in law, Shirley and Albert Homesley, Thomson; a granddaughter and friend, Tina Homesley and Mark Ruprecht, of Michigan; and a great-granddaughter, Erica Bednarski, Michigan; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Paul McNair, J.C. Langham, Seth Mason, David Hobbs, Jimmy Jones, Lamar Massey, James Freeman and Kenny May.
