JEWELL, Ga. - Mrs. Ivylin Howell White of Jewell, entered into rest February 1, 2008, at her residence.
She was the beloved wife of the late William Eugene White for 48 years, daughter of the late Ola Dye Howell and the late Fred M. Howell, and sister of the late Ellen Howell Frost and Douglas Howell.
Graveside services were held at 4 p.m., Sunday, February 3, 2008, at the Long Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Revs. Tom and Deloris Egglestan along with Rev. Chad Crews officiating.
Mrs. White was a lifelong resident of Warren County. She was a faithful member and servant at Long Creek Baptist Church for over 50 years. Mrs. White also served as Sunday School teacher, Bible School leader, and WMU member.
Survivors include a son, William Douglas White and his wife, Alice, Louisville, Ky.; daughters, Cynthia White Roof, Anderson, S.C., and Laurie White Hobbs and her husband, Billy, Thomson; grandsons, Brian White, Benjamin White, Daniel Palmer, and great-granddaughter, Avery White and step-grandson, David Hobbs, and a host of friends.
