THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Louise J. Chalker, 85, widow of Mr. Roger Chalker, Sr., died Sunday, February 5, 2006 in the St. Joseph Hospital.
Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 8, in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Rev. Thomas A. Kerr officiating.
Mrs. Chalker was a native of Norwood, GA, but had lived in Thomson for many years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Thomson First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her three sons, Roger Chalker, Jr., Alan Chalker and Charles Chalker, all of Thomson; her two sisters, Doris Banks, Thomson and Mary Frances McCord, Norwood; her three brothers, Terrell Johnson and James Johnson, both of Thomson and W.S. Johnson, Augusta and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
