Mr. John Thomas (Tom) Doughty THOMSON, Ga.- The funeral for Mr. John Thomas (Tom) Doughty, age 59, of Thomson, was held on Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at 2 p.m. at the Springfield Baptist Church, Rev. John Smalley, officiating. Interment was in the Greenbranch Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors are five children, Walter Doughty, Athens, Gary Doughty, Sparta, Tommy Doughty, Augusta, Pamela Lewis, Thomson and Melanie Germany of Thomson; father, Henry Doughty of Philadelphia; one brother, Henry Doughty, Jr. of Thomson; one sister, Nora Doughty of Philadelphia, Penn.; two aunts, Emma Hamilton and Dorothy Wilkins, both of Thomson; fiance, Alma Burley of Thomson and several grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
