Mrs. Hazel Harrison Kelley

DEARING, Ga. - Mrs. Hazel Harrison Kelley, 88, wife of the late James "Snow" Kelley, entered into rest Friday, February 8, 2008, at the Doctors Hospital, Augusta, Georgia.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 10, 2008, at Dearing Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Timmerman officiating. Burial as in the Dearing Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Kelley was born in Lincoln County to the late Enoch and Lizzie Harrison and was a life long resident of Dearing. She was a member of Dearing Baptist Church. Mrs. Kelley, affectionately known as "Maw Maw," was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Jarred Brinkley.

Survivors include her children Ronnie (Anna) Kelley, Dearing, Janice Hobbs, Dearing, Gail Stewart, Atlanta, Kathy (Jimmy) Hawkins, Thomson, and Rebecca (Jerry) Brinkley, Dearing; nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Annie Ruth Thompson, Warner Robins, and Camille Harrison, Newman; and several nieces and nephews.

If so desired, memorials may be made to Dearing Baptist Church Building Fund, PO Box 278, Dearing, GA 30808.

Pallbearers were Scott Hobbs, Tracy Kelley, Benjamin Hawkins, Michael Hammock, Zane Hammock, Bradley Wyrosdick, Scotty Hobbs and Toby Wyrosdick.

Starling Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
