THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Lorene Wisham, 92, of Thomson, entered into rest February 8, 2008, at Heartland Hospice.
She was the beloved wife of the late Alvie "Bug" Wisham.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 10, 2008, at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jim Ramsey officiating. Interment followed in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Matthew Caldwell, Bryan Murray, Trev Fullbright, Ronnie Bohler, Larry Murray, and Jack Myers, Jr.
Mrs. Wisham was born in Glascock County but lived in McDuffie County since 1937. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Eulie Willis Reese and the late Nina Wilkens Reese. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Sunshine Sunday School Class, Young at Heart and the Sunshine Club.
Survivors include: daughters: Beverly W. Myers (Jack), Valdosta, Ga., Norma W. Wall (Eddie), Thomson; grandchildren: Jack Myers, Jr. (Lisa), Trev Fullbright (Tana), Edie Murray (Bryan); great-grandchildren: Taylor Carlton Murray, Hannah Elizabeth Murray.
Mrs. Wisham was preceded in death by her grandson Alvie Myers.
Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
