Mrs. Helen H. Driggers

THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Helen H. Driggers, 89, widow of Mr. William Herbert Driggers, died Friday, February 8, 2008, at the McDuffie Regional Medical Center.

Memorial services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, February 17, 2008, at Dearing United Methodist Church with Rev. Allen Hamilton officiating.

Mrs. Driggers was a native of McDuffie County. She was retired civilian personnel at Fort Gordon. She was a member of Dearing United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Ocran Howard and Mrs. Essie Wiley Howard.

She is survived by her son, Herbert H. Driggers, cousins, Bill and Vickie Howard, and many loving friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Thomson McDuffie Relay for Life or the Dearing United Methodist Church.

Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
