THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Bobbie Graziano of Thomson entered into rest February 6, 2007, at the VA Medical Center in Augusta.
Mrs. Graziano was the beloved wife of Louis C. Graziano, Sr. Mrs. Graziano was a native of Decatur, Ala., but lived in Thomson since 1956. She was the daughter of the late Willis Shaneyfelt and the late Mamie Lou Dye Shaneyfelt. Mrs. Graziano served in the Womens Army Corp in Reims, France during WWII as a Physical Education Instructor. She was also a member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church, the Thomson VFW Post #7778 and the Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Louis C. Graziano, Sr., Thomson; sons, Louis C. Graziano, II (Pam), Thomson, David B. Graziano (Elaine), Greensboro, N.C.; daughters, Moira G. Johnson (Harry), Thomson, Marsha G. Toscano (Lenny), Franklin Square, N.Y., Kim G. Evans (Terry), Thomson; sister: Mary Evans, Augusta; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Mass was held at 2 p.m. Friday at Queen of Angels Catholic Church with Father Bill Williams officiating. Interment followed at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Rick Tuchscherer, Tom Almeter, Joe Pretzello, Dick Darling, Perry Morgan and Ronnie Cranford. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Knights of Columbus and members of the VFW Post #7778.
