THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Diane Baker Gunn, 74, widow of Mr. Daniel Gunn, died Thursday, February 8, 2007, in the University Hospital.
Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Sunday, February 11, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Garvin officiating. Burial will be in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Gunn was a native of Miami, but had lived in Thomson for many years. She was the retired owner of the Happy Valley Store.
Survivors include three daughters, Debra Skinner, Savannah, Rosanna Newman and Dinah G. Usry, both of Thomson; a son, Daniel Gunn, Thomson; a sister, Gail Orlaski, St. Louis, Mo.; a brother, Richard Baker, Chesapeake, Va.; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers were John Usry, Danny Usry, Roger Burton, Billy Ray Usry, Mike Skinner, and Buzzy Dent.
Donations may be made to the McDuffie County Library.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
