THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Celesta Graham, 81, widow of Mr. Reece Graham, died Thursday, February 8, 2007, in the Thomson Manor Nursing Facility.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, February 11, in the Thomson Second Baptist Church, with Dr. Ron Drawdy officiating. Burial was in Westview Cemetery.
Mrs. Graham was a native of Wilkes County, but had lived in Thomson for many years. She was a homemaker and a seamstress. She was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, four sons, Johnny Graham, Henry Graham, George Graham, and William Graham, and a daughter, Lou Peebles.
She is survived by two sons, Billy Graham, Thomson, and W. J. Graham, Cochran; three daughters, Carolyn Green, Dearing, Emma L. Grant, Stapleton, and Judy Davis, Thomson; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were George Peebles, John Graham, Jerry Turner, William Davis, Eddie Graham, and Bryan Poston.
Donations may be made to Mr. Billy Graham.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
