WARRENTON, Ga. - Mrs. Maggie Ree Tanksley departed this life on Monday, February 6, 2006.
Funeral services were held at Greenwood Baptist Church in Norwood, Georgia on Saturday, February 11, 2006 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Coleman Haynes officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
She was very active in her church where she was the treasurer of the Missionary Society.
She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Shirley Howard, Warrenton; four sons, Rodney, Milton, Antonio, and Mario Tanksley all of Norwood. She reared three grandchildren and a niece as her own, Kiawanna Winfred, Atlanta, Denisha and Tyeshia Tanksley, Warrenton, and Elizabeth Moore, Augusta; three sisters, Lurena Moss, Ida Tolbert, Norwood, Addie Tanksley, Warrenton; 22 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services entrusted to Dawson Morturay of Warrenton.
