AIKEN, S.C. -- Mr. Jonathan Brian Barrs, 33, of Aiken, died Friday, February 11 in Doctor's Hospital, Augusta.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the University Parkway Church of God. Revs. Henry Shaffer and Kelly McKnight officiated. Interment followed in Vaucluse Cemetery.
Mr. Barrs was a carpenter and a member of University Parkway Church of God.
He is survived by his wife, Hope Elaine Leach Barrs; two sons, Nathan and Gabriel Barrs; his father, Jack Calhoun Barrs, Atlanta; his mother, Sharron Tee Reeves Jackson, Yemassee, SC; a sister, Sharron Anne Meadows, Thomson; his paternal grandmother, Doris Barrs, North Augusta; a niece, Lea Browning, Augusta and two nephews, Matthew Browning, Augusta and Joshua Atwell, Savannah. He was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Lynn Barrs.
