AUGUSTA, Ga.- Rev. Freddie Paschal, Jr., of Glenn Hills Circle entered into rest Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004 at the University Hospital.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2004 at 1 p.m. at Beulah Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Sam Davis officiating. Burial was in Mt. Olive Memorial Garden.
He was a native of McDuffie County; a retired Civil Service Employee after 30 years of service and 12 years of service at Johnson Control and a member of Beulah Grove Baptist Church. He was pastor of the following churches: St. Paul Baptist Church, St. John Baptist Church and First Friendship Baptist Church in Hancock County, Ga., and a member of the Ministers Conference, the Southern Baptist Conference, the SCLC, NAACP, and the Pilgrimaires Gospel Group Quartet.
Survivors are his wife, Ola Paschal; one daughter, Kathy Marie Waltower, Augusta; seven sons, Larry Paschal, Brooklyn, N.Y., Freddie E. Paschal, Wayne (Karen) Paschal, Michael (Sonya) Paschal, Freddie (Diane) Curry, Jimmy (Linda) Curry, Augusta; Terry (Lynetta) Paschal, Atlanta; step-children, Beverly Jennings, John (Elaine) Daniels, Yvonne Daniels, Antonio Daniel; one sister, Mary Ann Brown, Augusta; 27 grandchildren, other relatives and friends; one aunt, Mozell Williams, Thomson.
Williams Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
