AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Mary E. Hollimon McGahee, 76, wife of the late Mr. Forrest McGahee Sr., entered into rest Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at University Hospital.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, February 19, 2008, at 11 a.m. from Second Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, with Pastor J. L. Stokes officiating. Interment was in Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church cemetery in Thomson.
Survivors are her children, Johnnie T. Williams, Forrest (Philura) McGahee, Donald (Doris) McGahee, Edward McGahee, Gwendolyn (Bobby) McCarter, Franklin (Mia) McGahee and Robert McGahee; brothers, Forrest (Mattilyn) Hollimon and Johnny A. (Selena) Williams; 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Horace (Evelyn) McGahee; sister-in-law, Annie Bell Lawson and a host of aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
