Mr. James Morgan

THOMSON, Ga. - Funeral service for Mr. James Morgan, 80, Thomson, was held on Thursday, February 14, 2008, at 1 p.m. at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with the Pastor, Rev. Darnell Brantley, Sr. officiating. Interment was in the churchyard cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Morgan, Thomson; three daughters, Brenda (Larry) Jones, Las Vegas, Nev., Phyllis Ramsey and Pamela Grant Morgan, both of Thomson; two stepdaughters, Annette (Timothy) Stockton and Sandra (Kelvin) Rocker, all of Thomson; three stepsons, Willie J. Johnson, Michael A. Johnson, both of Thomson and Clay V. (Nancy) Johnson, Atlanta; four sisters, Myrtis Curry and Roxie Boyd, both of Thomson, Mary Frances LaFavor, Augusta, and Pinkie Jones, Atlanta; two brothers, E. V. (Velma) Morgan, Thomson and Prince Albert Morgan, Syracuse, N.Y.; two additional sons-in-law, Marvin Ramsey and Charlie Castleberry; six sisters-in-law, Willie Mae Morgan, Louise Moss, Jessie Bell, Pearlie Mae Jackson, Shirley (Johnny) Ivey and Patricia Hall; two brothers-in-law, Roy Johnson, FL and Charles Johnson, Macon; a devoted nephew, Randy (Lois) Morgan; 24 grand and step-grandchildren; 15 great-grand and step-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
