THOMSON, Ga. - Homegoing services for Mr. Ruben Grant, Jr. 94, of Thomson, were held on Sunday, February 18, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Springfield Baptist Church in Thomson, with Rev. F. D. Favors officiating. Interment was in the Sandy Grove A.M.E. Church, Warrenton.
Survivors inclucde two sons, Ruben Grant, III, and Johnny B. Grant; two daughters, Verannett Grant Collins and Lutica Grant; all of Thomson; two brothers, Luvie Grant & Homer Grant, both of Thomson; one sister, Annie Griffin, Chicago, Ill.; two sisters-in-law, Emma Lee Grant, Thomson, and Delia Grant, Dearing; one son-in-law, Eddie L. Collins, Thomson; six grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
