THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Eve R. Guy, 81, beloved wife of Mr. Stanley Guy, died Wednesday, February 15, 2006 in the McDuffie Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 18, in the Little Brier Creek Baptist Church with Dr. Randy Dunaway officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Guy was a native of Glascock County, but had lived in Thomson for many years. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Mrs. Guy was preceded in death by a son, Mr. Roger W. Guy.
Survivors include her husband, Mr. Stanley Guy, Thomson; four daughters, Patricia Holton, Lynda Lucas and Faye Guy, all of Thomson and Carol Hayes, Millen; two sons, David Stanley Guy and David O. Guy, both of Thomson; a sister, Judy Reese, S.C.; 14 grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Michael McGrotha, Joseph McGrotha, Chris Hayes, Chris Lucas, James Tankersley and Frank Tankersley.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
