AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Martha Velara Bussell Hall, 85, widow of the late Henry Rupert Hall Sr., went to be with the Lord on Sunday February 12, 2006, at St. Joseph Hospital.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 15, 2006, at Platt's Belair Road Chapel with Rev. James Boyd officiating. Burial followed in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Hall was born in Soperton, Ga. She was a homemaker and a charter member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She was the director of Fellowship Baptist Church food bank and a member of the Senior's Sunday school class. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, mother in law and friend.
In addition to her late husband she was also preceded in death by a son, Dennis Lamar Hall.
Survivors include: three sons, Henry Rupert (Rudy) Hall Jr., (Nancy) of Lexington, KY, and William (Bill) Perry Hall, (Carol), and Michael Wayne Hall, (Laura) both of Grovetown; four daughters, Nancy Hall White, (Bobby) and Marsha Hall Janelle, (Ronnie) both of Grovetown, Dionne Hall McCracken, (Steve) of Augusta, and Sylvia Hall Morris, (Milton) of Grovetown; three sisters, Ila Rea Wilson of Thomson, and Wilhelmina Wilds and Betty Brock both of Evans; 14 grandchildren, Kenneth Robert White, Keith Randall White, Ron Curtis Janelle Jr., Carol Ann Hall, Kerrie Renee White, Steven Dennis Hall, Erin Elaine Hall, Amy Janelle Robinette, Michael Wayne Hall II, James Jeremiah Morris, Dennis Lamar Morris, Cory Duane Hall, Brittany Lee McCracken and Martha Jean Hall, and 17 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were her grandsons.
