The Pine Needle Garden Club met Tuesday, February 8, 2005 for it's monthly meeting in the home of Claire Harbeson. Susan Collins was co-hostess.

Club President, Mrs. Harbeson, conducted the business meeting. A devotional was given by Mrs. Collins and minutes were read of the January meeting by Sharon Wall. Lucie Wills gave the treasurer's report.
Feb. 8, marked the exact date of the first meeting of the Pine Needle Garden Club 50 years ago. Members dressed in 50's attire in celebration. Cindy Wilson honored club charter member, Billie Thomas with a beautifully framed pine needle bough watercolor for the occasion.
Yard of the month was awarded to Mark and Nancy Grant on Indian Cove Drive.
The day's arrangement theme was "Happy Hearts."
Arrangement winners were: first place -- Cindy Wilson, Sharon Wall, Mary Wills; second place -- Susan Collins, Sara Newton; third place -- Claire Harbeson.
Specimen winners were: first place -- Kathy Jopling, Lucie Wills; second place -- Billie Thomas; third place- -- Teri Hanna, Sharon Wall.
Dr. Julie Hicks provided the program on women's heart health. The meeting was dismissed with the Garden Club Prayer.
