Be a foster parent Letter to the Editor Hello, Not long ago I was in foster care. No longer am I that because the judge treated me fair. Though my road was long and my struggles were hard -- for that I can only thank the Lord. From county to county, home to home, my caseworker fought tooth and nail to find me a home to call my own. My last stop was at Mr. and Mrs. Moss' house...and this is where I belong. My message to you is clear, become a foster parent today. You can help a child just like me. For all of you that made it possible, I'd like to thank you -- my caseworker Mrs. Sharon Hughes, the lawyer Mr. Knox, Judge Dunaway and Ms. Phillips Social Service Case Manager for McDuffie County.
