Family and friends gather to commemorate sixth anniversary of Robin Reeves' death

Robin Reeves' family and friends gathered at her former Gordon Street home Tuesday evening to remember her life and pray for justice to be served in her death. The candlelight vigil was held on the sixth anniversary of the day she was murdered.

About 50 people gathered in the front yard to hear Ms. Reeves' childhood friends speak about the memories they made with her. Her murder remains unsolved.

"Robin was a constant in my life, throughout high school," said Peggy Hillman. "...We have faith in the Lord and faith that this crime will be solved."

After Jill Brooks - another of Ms. Reeves' friends - spoke, vigil organizer Mike Love led the crowd in the Lord's Prayer and allowed for a moment of silent prayer. Then, Patricia Kennedy sang "Amazing Grace."

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Georgia Bureau of Investigation at 706-595-2575 or the Thomson Police Department at 706-595-2166.
