WARRENTON, Ga. - Mr. Lonzo Battle, of Warrenton, entered into rest Tuesday, February 20, 2007, at Doctor's Hospital in Augusta.
Funeral services were held Saturday, February 24, 2007, at 3 p.m. at the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Warrenton, with Dr. Johnny Hampton officiating. Interment was in the Union Star Cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters, Willie Pearl Battle, Phyllis Battle, Mary Williams and one son, Tony Battle, all of Warrenton; 19 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, two sisters, and five brothers; other relatives and friends.
Dawson's Mortuary was in charge of funeral arrangements.
